If there’s a chill in the air, fire up the wood burner and enjoy basking in its glow.

Accessed from the lounge and corridor, a well-appointed, L-shaped kitchen/diner offers a fantastic space to cook up holiday feasts and gather for social mealtimes as you plan the next day’s adventure.

Featuring a chic central island, the kitchen offers all the space and amenities needed for a self-catering stay, while an inviting seating space here means the chef is never left alone.

The lovely dining area sits beside the bi-fold doors to the garden, making for a lovely, airy spot to enjoy the chef’s work.

At the end of each day, follow the stairs to the first floor where three inviting bedrooms await, all organised around a well-equipped family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The 3 bedrooms comprise – 2 king-size (1 with zip-and-link beds that can be converted to twins on request) and 1 double.

A couple of steps lead to the upper level, with a small lawn and a charming, paved area with more furniture, perfect for dining alfresco on a summer’s afternoon.
