Stone fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, winding staircases – it’s brimming with character inside and out.
We love the interior – warm, inviting and snug, the sitting room is ideal for chilled evenings at home.
Rustle up a meal in the country-style kitchen – best shared around the rustic dining table – before nodding off in the comfortable bedrooms.
One bedroom has a king size bed which can be split into two singles on request and the second bedroom a double bed.
There is one family bathroom with a shower and bath.
Our favourite spot is the split-level garden, where you can relax with a cup of coffee on sunny mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings, or relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring the countryside.
Whimsical is the best way to describe it – vines and flowers climb the stone walls while pebble pathways lead to hidden patios tucked away behind verdant plants.
Laze on the hammock with a good book, fire up the grill for a summer barbecue and gather around the fire pit when the sun goes down.
There’s free on-street parking close to the home and one resident’s parking spot but spaces are limited
Two medium-sized dogs are welcome for a £40/dog fee
