A doorway from the kitchen leads into the hallway, which in turn leads on to the lounge, a wonderfully cosy room with its beamed ceiling and warming open fire around which are clustered a selection of inviting chairs and a sofa, perfect for curling up with a good book, or catching up with a favourite programme on the TV/DVD.

Returning back to the hallway, guests will pass a small writing desk on the way up the stairs to the bedrooms on the first floor.

The first of these is a cosy king-size room, whilst the second is a pretty twin room with 2’6” beds.

The bathroom, meanwhile, can be found on the ground floor of the cottage and offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside is the gravelled courtyard leading to the sunny, spacious, grassed garden, with meadow views and perfect for a barbecue.

The Garden Room is a delight. Beautifully crafted the double doors open out to the garden, this relaxing space has been attractively finished in a sleek contemporary style, and can even be used in the winter thanks to the wood burner, making this a fantastic year-round retreat.

There is garden furniture and a BBQ provided to help guests to make the most of the outside space, and there is parking for two cars.
