Delightfully peaceful, it’s nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and within driving distance of the Wayford Marine, The Broad wetlands and canals. Just a short drive further and you’ll find the fine sands of Horsey and the seals that occupy the beaches.The interior exudes Georgian chic with exposed sweeping staircases, a log-burning fireplace, antique furnishings, crystal chandeliers and modern touches for optimal cosiness. We love the elegant living space, where you can unwind in front of the fire with a glass of natural wine and the lovely country-house kitchen, complete with an AGA, which is designed with home chefs in mind. After a leisurely walk exploring the area’s abundant wildlife and 18th-century windmills, gather around the grand dining table and tuck into a grilled Wagyu steak that’s been reared on the estate. Overlooking the breathtaking scenery and your wild garden surroundings, unwind in the hot tub under the crystal-clear night sky.

The fourth bedroom has two single beds that can be arranged into a super-king-sized bed upon request. This home is spread over three floors, with no internal lift. The utility and games room are combined. Your host can provide a travel cot and high chair for free upon request. One well-behaved dog is welcome to accompany you during your stay. Your host can provide a firewood starter pack for the wood-burning fireplace. There is a local potato processing factory and railway nearby, so low-level noise may be expected. Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there is parking for up to six vehicles
