With good old-fashioned tea rooms, fish and chips, and ice creams aplenty on your doorstep, it’s the nostalgic seaside village retreat you’ve been chasing. And this home delivers all the traditional coastal charms, too – alongside some impressive modern-day creature comforts. Underfloor heating and a high-quality electric wood burner (so realistic it even makes crackling noises) will keep things toasty in the winter, and outside, you’ll find that covered hot tub with room for you all. Cooking is a joy in the made-for-action kitchen with a fancy bean-to-cup coffee maker for a morning brew and a welcome hamper crammed with goodies. Rustle up drinks with the cocktail shakers to savour outside on the sunny terrace as you fire up the Weber barbecue – it’s a wonderful place to be on balmy evenings. And it’s also a home designed for your pooch in mind too, with luxury beds to nestle down in and an outside shower to wash off sandy paws after a runout at the beach. There is parking for one car on the small private driveway right next to the house. Dogs are welcome upstairs, but there’s a dog/child gate too if you’d rather keep the dog downstairs. Set out over two floors there are stairs within this home that may be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. There’s a downstairs cloakroom as well as a family bathroom upstairs. Child-friendly amenities include a cot, highchair and toys. There’s a laptop-friendly space for remote working here, if you must. Along with luxury dog beds and crates, the host provides dog tags with the home’s address on them to help wanderers find their way home. There’s a EV charger to charge electric vehicles
