There’s nothing but you and the sea at this stunning cabin in its own secluded Devon bay. Ok, so there’s a little more to this place than a private beach – like a wood-fired hot tub on the deck, a fire pit for star-speckled nights away from the city, and a food package provided by your host.

It may be a cosy, compact cabin, but there’s a full kitchen inside and hanging hammock chairs are perfectly positioned to gaze at the sea view.

Located on the South Devon coast, just a few miles from the small village of Holbeton, you will find The Beach Hut… at least, if you know where to look.

This Westcountry retreat is remote, isolated and invisible from the South West Coast Path above, which is exactly what makes it so special. You reach the hut by walking down a steep cliff path, meaning privacy is assured.

With a private beach and endless views out to sea, all you will hear is the sound of the birds and the waves crashing on to the nearby rocks.

The Beach Hut is more than its name suggests, with a wood-fired hot tub on the beachfront terrace offering a luxurious touch.

Leave your worries (and your car and your phone signal) at the clifftop before making the fifteen-minute walk along a steep, narrow trail that keeps this home secluded and secret.
