Situated on one of Bath’s most famous streets, this stunning, spacious Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse has the wow factor and then some. The highlight for us has to be the outdoor space. Step out through French doors in the living room to the upper balcony with wrap-around glass balustrades offering panoramic views across this elegant city’s skyline to Bath Abbey and the wooded hills beyond. We love this spot – watch the world go by in the artisan quarter of Walcot Street below as you sip a glass of Champagne. There’s also a roof terrace – this wonderful suntrap is perfect for alfresco dining.Inside, you really do feel like you’re in a Jane Austen novel, with the high ceilings, sash windows and candelabras in the grand dining room. We particularly adore the original house kitchen, which has been converted into a second living space but retains its original period features, from bread ovens to Belfast sinks and open fireplaces – it makes a charming snug.
